This article explains how to troubleshoot the Driver-facing camera videos missing error.
Issue
Some videos from the driver-facing camera are missing.
Solution
Follow these steps to get the driver-facing camera working again:
Step 1: Check the AI dashcam’s LEDs
Turn on the vehicle and wait 5 minutes for the camera to boot up. The red, blue, and green lights will flash in sequence.
You will hear a single beep. A single beep indicates your device is plugged in correctly and receiving power.
During normal operation, both the green and blue lights are on.
Step 2. Reset the camera
Press the Calibrate button for three seconds, or until you hear a beep.
Use a small tool or paper clip to press the button.
Step 3: Check that the driver-facing camera is connected correctly
- Unscrew the right-hand side panel. The two captive screws will remain connected to the panel.
- Unclip the panel by pulling firmly on the tab.
- Hold down the plastic tab and slide the lens out.
- Slide the driver-facing camera into place until it clicks.
- To adjust the driver-facing camera angle, rotate the mounting lens up and down.
- Replace the side panel.
- Lock by tightening the two screws using the screwdriver provided.
