Troubleshooting: Some videos from the Extended View Cameras are missing. (Error code: EVC videos missing)

This article explains how to troubleshoot the EVC videos missing error.

Issue

Some of the Extended View Cameras are not recording videos.

Solution

1. Check that the camera cables are connected correctly to the video cables.
   
2. Check that the cable connector pins are not damaged.
3. Check that the way the video cables are connected to the DVR video hardness matches the channel assigned in Reveal.
   
4. Check that the video harness is securely plugged in the DVR’s camera input.
