Use the app to assign a camera to a vehicle during installation. Or contact an admin to assign a camera after installation, using the Admin>Fleet and device list.

Follow the installation steps for your camera model in the Spotlight or Integrated Video app to:

Install a new camera in a vehicle

Replace (or swap) a camera.
One of the app steps will prompt you to assign the camera to a vehicle.
If the camera is not assigned to a vehicle using the app during installation, it can be assigned in Fleet. Admins can:

Go to Admin>Fleet and device list

Click the Unassigned cameras tab

In the list of unassigned cameras, find the dashcam you want to assign

Click VIEW to see the camera details.

Click ASSIGN TO VEHICLE

Select the vehicle

Review the camera and vehicle details

If a camera is already assigned to the vehicle, you can select:

Assign new camera to override the existing camera and assign a new one

Select a different vehicle to return to the previous step.

Click CONFIRM ASSIGNMENT

Check the camera alignment. Correct camera alignment is essential for the Integrated Video features to work accurately.

Click ASSIGN TO DASHCAM

Select an unassigned driver-facing camera to assign to a road-facing camera

Review the camera details

Click CONFIRM ASSIGNMENT

Contact Support to assign Extended View Cameras. You will need to tell us:

The name of the vehicle (as it appears in Fleet), VIN or tracker ESN
-
Camera ESN
-
Camera position (driver, passenger, rear or cargo)

Channel number. If you don’t know the channel number, power on the vehicle so Support can find it.
