When a job is created without an assigned route or a driver, these must be assigned before the job can be completed. Unassigned jobs should be assigned to routes based on the shift patterns and availability of drivers on the day, and their distance from other jobs and routes.
You can choose to view jobs with a status of "unassigned" for the currently selected day, or all unassigned jobs within a 15 day period (which encompasses the currently selected calendar day, the seven preceding days, and the following seven days). To quickly view all unassigned jobs for a day:
-
Select the day you want to view using the date control in the upper left corner of the Jobs List panel, or change day using the left and right arrows to move ahead or back one day at a time:
-
Change the status filter control to Unassigned (Current Day) or Unassigned (+/- 7 days).
-
Select Unassigned (Current Day) and the Jobs List shows only jobs that have not yet been assigned to a route on the day you chose in step 1.
-
Select Unassigned (+/- 7 days) and the Jobs List shows all jobs that have not yet been assigned to a route on any of the previous seven days relative to the day selected in step 1, and the following seven days (encompassing 15 days in total, including the currently selected day).
