Welcome to the product updates and enhancements for your Verizon Connect Fleet solution, that we released in the first quarter of 2025. Our commitment to continuous improvement means more powerful tools and insights to help you manage your fleet more efficiently, enhance safety, and drive your business forward. Dive in to discover how these new features can benefit your operations.
Extended View Cameras
We are now offering this multi-channel dashcam solution that provides unparalleled visibility with four powerful cameras—a rear camera, two side cameras, a cargo camera and an in-cab driver monitoring and road facing camera—to mitigate risk and prioritize safety practices.
Animals now detected by AI Cloud
Avoiding animals in the road can cause vehicles to jackknife or rollover, and collisions can also cause expensive vehicle repairs. If a collision or near miss occurs and there is an animal associated with the event our AI cloud analyzes the footage and labels the incident as “Collision” or ”Near Miss” and, “Animal”, along with the classification tag.
Video Fleet Safety Overview Tab Updates
The Video Fleet Safety Overview will now be the default when you click on the video tab. The Video Overview tab summarizes safety insights tailored to your fleet (also known as ‘groups’). Tool Tips, Behavior Links and Behavior Trends have also been added.
Solid Line Departure Warning
Crossing into another lane or onto the roadside is a dangerous driving behavior because it greatly increases the likelihood of losing control of the vehicle at speed. Solid Line Departure Warning is now available to our customers with the ADAS subscription on the AI Dashcam. The new in-cab alert is triggered when a vehicle is crossing a solid line on the road.
Tailgating Improvement
Tailgating is a dangerous driving behavior because it greatly increases the likelihood of rear-end collisions. Based on your feedback, we have improved how our AI dashcam detects tailgating by reducing the trigger sensitivity.
HOS Log Edit Update
We have increased the time period that you can edit Hours-of-Service (HOS) logs from one month to six months.
