Using DVIRs

DVIRs (driver vehicle inspection reports) are used as part of the vehicle inspection process, which is usually performed when you select a vehicle and when you leave a vehicle.

Depending on your account configuration, you might see a prompt asking you to complete a pre-trip DVIR when you select a vehicle. Similarly, you might see a prompt asking you to complete a post-trip DVIR when you leave a vehicle.

To fill out an on-demand DVIR, go to the Vehicle screen and tap On-demand DVIR in the DVIR section. Then select the form from the list.

Completing a DVIR

To fill out a DVIR, enter numbers or text using your device's keyboard or tap items with an arrow beside them to select an option from the drop-down box. You might also need to use your device's camera to add photos or your finger to add a signature. Optional items are labeled with an "Optional" tag, while required items are not labeled.

Complete the form and tap Submit.

Viewing Completed DVIRs

To view a completed DVIR, go to the Vehicle screen and select the DVIR from the Recent DVIRs list. Your administrator can configure the maximum number of recent DVIRs that can be displayed on the Vehicle screen, and how long they can be displayed for.
