To generate an import file using a spreadsheet:
Create a spreadsheet using Excel with column labels in the first row. Columns should be displayed in the following order:
The name of the marker.
The name of a primary category for the marker.
The radius, in feet, of the marker.
The latitude of the location. When using latitude and longitude, do not include address information.
The longitude of the location. When using latitude and longitude, do not include address information.
The street address.
The state: this can be completely spelled out or an abbreviation such as CA.
zip or postal code. For locations in the USA, use the 5 digit zip code.
A contact phone number.
For each marker, add the data to the following rows. Important: Do not include a comma (“,”) in any of the data.
Click File > Save As.
Select CSV (Comma Delimited) (*.CSV) in the data type field.
