Verizon Connect® Response™ adds the following types of InSight Alerts™ to the available list of InSight Alerts™:
Exception |
Triggered When: |
---|---|
Expired Unassigned Job |
A job has not yet been assigned, but its Planned Arrival Time is approaching. |
Late |
A vehicle has not arrived at a scheduled job by its "latest arrival time". Use the time to trigger to indicate how late the vehicle can be before the driver is considered late to the job. The alert goes off when the job is completed. Note that this alert does not occur if the GPS signal is too weak. |
Running Late For Planned Arrival |
A vehicle has not yet arrived at a scheduled job, and the time available to get to the job is greater than that required to arrive before its "planned arrival time". The alert goes off when the job is not yet completed, and once completed is changed to "Late". This alert is only available if your account includes an ETA subscription. Note that this alert does not occur if the GPS signal is too weak. |
Running Late For Latest Arrival |
A vehicle has not yet arrived at a scheduled job, and the time available to get to the job is greater than that required to arrive before its "latest arrival time". The alert goes off when the job is not yet completed, and once completed is changed to "Late". This alert is only available if your account includes an ETA subscription. Note that this alert does not occur if the GPS signal is too weak. |
Missed Job |
A vehicle has missed a scheduled job. This alert is triggered when a job has an 'Assigned' status; the current time is later than the missed job's "planned arrival time"; and a job on the same route with a later "planned arrival time" has updated its status to "Completed". This alert can occur after the route is completed, or while the route is underway. If the alert is triggered while a route is underway, and the vehicle later returns to the job site before the route is completed (completing the job at the end of the route, for example), a 'Wrong Order' alert generated instead. Note that this alert does not occur if the GPS signal is too weak. |
Missed Stop |
A route has finished, but a job assigned to that route has not been completed. Alternatively, a job has been assigned to a route but another job scheduled for later on the route has been completed, and the expected arrival time of the job has passed. Note that this alert does not occur if the GPS signal is too weak. |
Wrong Order |
Any completed job that has a planned time before the previous completed job is marked "Wrong Order". In other words, if a driver skips a job and then returns to it later, that job is marked “Wrong Order” (ie. if the order the driver is completing the jobs in goes backwards). Note that this alert does not occur if the GPS signal is too weak. |
Note
Response adds a column to the InSight Alerts Inbox which indicates the job that is associated with the InSight Alert. That column is only filled out for these new InSight Alerts.
