Verizon Connect® Response™ adds a new page to the main Settings dialog box. This page is used to configure custom job properties, the default route naming format used by Response, job and route start and arrival behavior, and for configuring the Job Monitor.
Note
This tab is only available to the account administrator ('main' user).
Custom Job Properties: |
Use this field to select the globally configured custom properties you want to use on the Jobs List. These properties are typically imported from Verizon Connect® Dispatch™, and must be added in this field to be shown (and useful) in the Jobs List. Note that these property names and values are also shown on the Custom Properties tab of the Job Details dialog box, regardless of the configuration of this field. To add a job property to the Jobs List, click on the field containing the text 'Click to add Custom Property' with your mouse, and then type the name of the custom property you want to use. Take care to exactly match the name of the imported property (you can view the names of any available custom properties on the Custom Properties tab of the Job Details dialog box). Click outside the field, and the new property will be added as a blue box. Repeat this process for as many properties as you require. To remove a property, click the 'x' button to the right of the property's name. Once added, these custom properties can then be set as either visible or hidden on the Jobs List. Each individual property will be available as a single list column. |
Use Default Route Names |
Specify whether new routes use default names (using [Short Date] - [Driver Name] formatting, for example Jan 1 - John Smith) or not. |
Job Arrival Allowance: |
Specify the amount of time (hours:minutes) a driver can be early or late to a job. This cushion is added to the earliest and latest arrival times for each job to adjust the acceptable time window. |
Simultaneous Job Arrivals: |
Indicate how the jobs monitor should handle an arrival at a common location that could count for multiple jobs.
For example, if jobs A, B, and C occur in that order in a route, and A and C are in the same location, but B is in a different location, when Reject if out of order is selected, arriving at Job A does not count as arriving at Job C because the vehicle must depart and go to job B first. If Accept if out of order is selected, then an arrival at Job A can also include arrival at Job C by rearranging the schedule. |
Cloning of Incomplete Jobs: |
When cloning is enabled, then when a route is completed new unassigned copies of any incomplete jobs are created so that they can be dispatched again. When closing is disabled, these new, unassigned jobs are not created. |
Route Start Threshold: |
Specify the amount of time (hours:minutes) that can elapse before a driver starts a scheduled route. |
