Heat Map |
The Quick View map on the Fleet Home screen, which uses colors to indicate the status of vehicles (assets) and color intensity to indicate the number of vehicles with a similar status. |
Hierarchy |
A tool for managing the users, vehicles (assets), and drivers based on the organizational structure. The hierarchy is composed of nodes, each of which corresponds to a fleet of vehicles and a team of drivers. Each node has access to all the information in its child nodes. |
History |
A summary of events pertaining to a vehicle, other asset, or driver over a specified time period. |
History color |
The color shown on vehicle history details when a vehicle is at a marker in a specified category. |
Home screen |

Node |
A point in the hierarchy that corresponds to a position in the organization. Each node defines a fleet of vehicles (or assets) and a team of drivers, based on the vehicles (or assets) and drivers visible to all nodes beneath it. Each node can have zero or more users assigned to it. The users assigned to a node have access to the fleet and team that the node defines. |
Pan |
To move the visible region shown by a map by clicking and dragging or, if on a mobile device, tapping and dragging. |
Poll |
To send a message to a vehicle or asset to check its current status. GPS trackers on vehicles and assets report their location automatically at regular intervals, but a user can also poll a vehicle between the regular interval time, as long as the vehicle is not stopped. |
Polygon |
A geographic region defined by a set of points along the boundary. Also called a geofence. |
Polygon marker |
A location whose boundaries are defined by a set of boundary points rather than a circle around a specified point. |
Post-trip DVIR |

Pre-trip DVIR |
A Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) that a driver fills out before completing a job, after signing in. |
Primary Category |
The category of a marker that determines which icon is used when vehicles are stopped at the marker. |
Private sharing |
Granting a subuser access to a specific fleet, team, or category. Only fleets, teams, and categories that have not been created as "public" can be shared in this way. |

Sharing |
The granting of rights to a subuser. |
