Verizon Connect’s world-leading RouteCloud route optimization system is now available as a standalone Scenarios sandbox and API, and at an incredible price.
Use RouteCloud to leverage Verizon Connect’s powerful route optimization API in a private Scenarios test environment without the headache of integrating your existing hardware, routing systems or routing software.
Simply configure a ‘virtual’ fleet of vehicles, drivers and jobs that matches your actual fleet, and then use RouteCloud’s massive cloud-computing power and advanced logic to generate an unlimited number of ‘what if’ routing scenarios, increasing the resource availability and cost-effectiveness of your fleet.
What is RouteCloud?
RouteCloud is a revolutionary route optimization engine. We believe that no other route optimization engine available today compares to the power, speed, and accuracy of RouteCloud - that's why we use it in so many of our products to determine the most efficient routes between one job or delivery and the next.
What Can RouteCloud Do?
RouteCloud can build new or re-optimize existing single or multi-day routes, manage stop insertions into routes, and evaluate routes to optimize arrival times at stops. It can calculate costs, distances, drive times, find open appointment slots, and identify violations. Its routes are calculated using driver and vehicle availability, mandatory breaks, driver shift patterns, vehicle details, time windows, date and time constraints, vehicle capacities and more.
Not only can it do all these things, it can do them at lightning speed. For example, it can:
- Resequence 50 stops in 1 second.
- Build 1,000 stops in 2 minutes.
- Build 20,000 stops with 200 vehicles in a single request.
How Can I Use RouteCloud?
You can use RouteCloud through the API (computer-to-computer) or through the Fleet sandbox browser interface. Simply sign into Fleet, and then open the Scenarios screen. From the Scenarios screen you can configure vehicles, drivers, customer locations, territories and jobs, and then generate optimized routes between jobs. Once these routes have been generated, you can export them to evaluate, or to import into your existing routing tools.
