Welcome to the Hours of Service What's New page.

Hours of Service (HOS) is an optional module within WorkPlan. You must have the appropriate option enabled in your account to use HOS. From WorkPlan version 4.33 onward, WorkPlan and HOS releases are dependent on each other. To upgrade HOS, upgrade your version of WorkPlan. For older versions of WorkPlan, you can synchronize under WorkPlan Settings to upgrade to the latest version of HOS.

New features and enhancements:

  • Users must now claim all pending events on the review screen before leaving the app.

  • Performance enhancements for HOS Sync.

  • Customer bug fixes for 16 Hour Exemption flow.

  • Drivers can now review and claim unidentified events when they leave or switch vehicles.

  • Corrected an issue where on-duty timers in Canada were calculated incorrectly when drivers took breaks that were shorter than 30 minutes.

  • Added a new timer to the HOS Status screen for Canadian users. This timer, called Shift, shows the remaining time that the driver can spend on duty for this shift, including any rest breaks. In Canada, the Day timer has been renamed to On Duty.

  • Added Cloud ELD functionality for International Trucks by Navistar customers. Contact your customer success manager (CSM) or sales representative to determine if your vehicles are eligible for Cloud ELD.
