What's New in Fleet

Fixed a bug that could stop a mobile user (driver) from being edited if the user had been created using the Mobile Tools page.

Corrected an error message that could be shown when editing the Hierarchy.

Added a new Carry over DVIR results setting to the "Form Builder" tab of the Form Templates page. The setting allows you to choose which DVIR results to carry over from one third signature DVIR form to the next.

Updated the display of AEMP vehicles on the map's multi-history timeline. These histories are now shown with a light gray, rather than red, timeline background when using "Color By: Unit Status". GPS points in AEMP history timelines are now also shown in gray.

Fixed an error message that might be shown when loading a new Vehicle History from the Vehicles list when the selected vehicle had a hardware setting of "No" for its "Has Ignition" setting (specified on the vehicle Hardware tab).

Added support for the routing settings "U-turns", "Toll roads", and "Ferries" for Dispatch and Scenarios customers with appropriate account permissions, and for Workforce customers with "Essential" or "Enhanced" subscriptions. Removed all references to the retired "Recommendations Service" feature of the Road Editor.

Fixed an XSS vulnerability identified on the Install Types page.

Fixed an error message that could be shown when loading a new vehicle history (using the "Add to History" link on the Vehicles list).

Corrected a fault that could cause an error message to be shown on the Subusers page.

Fixed a filtering bug that could stop searches for vehicles on the Map page returning any results.

Added several missing non-English translations to the Edit Vehicle dialog box.

Removed several obsolete references to decommissioned Fleet systems.

Fixed a bug on the Markers page that could cause an data corruption when attempting to bulk edit a large number of markers at the same time using the "Action" button.

Corrected a fault on the Vehicle Details pop-up that could cause "Average Fuel Economy" values to be listed as "NaN".

Fixed a bug that caused electric vehicles (EVs) to be falsely shown as stopping frequently when viewed on the map history layer.

Corrected a bug that could cause a "collection modified out of transaction" error message to be shown.

Fixed a fault that could stop Territory Permissions that had been set to restrict access to territories from being applied correctly.

Updated the behavior of the Details page on the Edit Vehicle dialog box when editing a VIN. A warning message now displays indicating that the VIN does not match the original VIN on record, and remains visible even after saving.

Updated the internal Fleet entity cache to support more unit types.

Fixed an error that could stop the "Add Unit" button on the Map page recognizing vehicles, preventing their histories from loading.

Corrected a bug that could cause Asset reports and Mileage reports to show different Distance Driven values for the same vehicle.

Added two new filtering prefixes to the Map page vehicle filter: "EngineType" and "FuelType".

Added several missing InSight Alert video notification translations, and updated other notification message to more closely reflect the language used in Reveal messages.

Fixed an issue that could cause EAT-B install type configurations to be incorrectly applied to EAT devices.

Fixed a bug that could stop the alphabetical sorting of table columns working correctly.

Corrected a fault that could show an error message when attempting to export Canadian HOS driver logs (that is, after clicking the "Send to Canadian officials" button) on the Hours of Service page.

Added support for Territory Permissions, which allow you to restrict access to a territory and specify which users have access to it. Restricted territories affect markers, jobs and routes in Dispatch, Response, and Scenarios.

Added several missing translations to the Hours of Service page.

Updated the behavior of Record of Duty Status (RODS) for all ELD customers in the US. Uncertified logs are now read-only, and administrators can no longer suggest corrective edits. Previously, this restriction was applied only to Canadian customers, but has now been extended to US customers to ensure compliance with FMCSA requirements.

Fixed a bug that could cause an error message to be shown when creating a new marker.

Added new translations for the Connect Vehicles tab on the My Account page, and updated several existing translations, for all supported locales.

Updated CARB reports to support the display of extended street addresses that included county names.

Fixed several cosmetic issues in the "Devices" section of the Hardware tab on Vehicle Details map pop-ups, and on the Install Types page. Some of the icons shown were the wrong size. Several text elements were also incorrectly shown in bold, not left-aligned, and poorly spaced.

Corrected an issue that caused some HOS unclaimed driving periods to be shown as "Automatically created" when they were in fact manually assigned, or had been previously rejected.

Fixed a fault that could generate unnecessary database transactions, resulting in a "Connection pool exhausted" error message.

Added a new live status page at https://status.vzconnect.com. This new page displays the real-time status of Fleet and Fleet-related components such as the map, APIs, and mobile apps.

Added several missing My Account translations.

Fixed a fault that could stop updated statuses showing in Fleet after new EAT devices were created.

Added a new '2-wire' configuration type for EAT devices.

Added several missing language translations for recently added features.

Updated Record of Duty Status (RODS) behavior to prohibit administrators suggesting corrective edits to uncertified logs for Canadian customers (by making them read-only).

Fixed an issue on the "Properties" tab of the Territories page when adding users to a territory. Previously, users were not added when using the "Territory Permissions' drop-down and then exiting without clicking the "Save" button. You are now asked to save any changes made before moving to another tab or page.

Corrected a bug that could stop some custom fields appearing correctly in Driver Details by Team reports.

Fixed a fault that could delete the "Stop ID" values on markers that had been exported, renamed, and then reimported.

Updated the status messages shown when setting a base marker through the Hierarchy to more accurately describe the actions being performed.

Fixed a cosmetic bug on map balloons when viewing AEMP heavy equipment that could stop manufacturer logos appearing. The Caterpillar company logo is now shown on the balloon when viewing a Caterpillar vehicle.

Corrected a typo on the Install Types page.

Fixed a bug that could cause a delay when showing drivers available to be assigned to a newly-created subuser.

Corrected a fault that could cause an error message to be shown when opening the Subusers page.

Removed all references to the end-of-life "Trips" mobile app from Fleet routing pages and labels.

Fixed a bug in the copy routes system that could stop custom properties being included in duplicated route and jobs.

Added a link to Verizon's California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) notice to the Fleet sign-in page.

Added several missing Italian language translations to reports and UI elements.

Corrected a fault that could stop jobs and routes assigned to unrestricted territories (those set to "ALL") being displayed to non-administrator accounts.

Fixed a fault in the Hours of Service page that could show the wrong number of remaining driver hours under the "Hours of Service Driver Summary" when using a CDL Short Haul exemption.

Corrected an error that could be shown when exporting driver forms in PDF format.

Added a new "Set Install Type" button to the vehicles tab on the Fleets & Teams page. This new button is used to specify the install type for selected vehicles rather than the entire fleet.

Added several missing Italian translation strings for various reports in Excel format.

Fixed a fault on the Territories page when creating a new territory using the "Create" button, and then immediately clicking "Cancel", that stopped the "Create" button being reenabled.

Corrected an error that stopped some diagnostic codes appearing in Vehicle Histories.

Fixed a problem that caused routes to be automatically marked as finished (that is, with a status of "Completed") when they had not yet been completed.

Fixed a bug that could stop the "Add Vehicles" and "Remove All" buttons appearing on the Fleets & Teams page when viewing a shared fleet.

Corrected a fault when adding users to a territory from the "Add Users to Territory" dialog box that showed the wrong number of selected users on the "Add N Users" button.

Added translated text for the My Account system in all supported languages.

Updated the English translation keys used for video alert notification emails.

Fixed a cosmetic issue on the Road Edits page's Manage Edits tab that stopped the "attribute" text wrapping correctly, and an issue that stopped the current date from being selected by default (as the "From" value) when creating an "Effective Date" range for a new road edit on the Road Edits dialog box.

Corrected a bug on the Drivers tab of the Hours of Service page that could stop a filtered HOS summary appearing when clicking a driver's name from the list.

Fixed a bug on the My Account page that caused URL suffixes (used to identify the current tab) to be removed after refreshing the page.

Corrected a fault that caused an error message to be shown when clicking the "Cancel" button after creating a new InSight Alert and then editing its settings.

Fixed an error message that could be shown when viewing DVIR inspection details from the Maintenance page.

Fixed a bug that caused an error to be thrown when uploading XSLT custom style sheets.

Added a new marker map settings panel to improve the visibility of marker icons and labels on the map. This new control is opened and closed from a toggle beside the "Show Markers" button on the map controls bar. From this new panel you can specify whether marker names are shown on the map (using a "Show marker name on map" check box) and, if they are, at what map zoom level (1-17). Two other settings are also available: the "Show markers at zoom" slider, used to specify the level the map must be zoomed in before marker icons are visible on the map, and the "Show perimeters at zoom" slider, used to specify the amount the map must be zoomed in before the shape and size of polygon and circle markers is drawn on the map. These settings were previously available only from the Visible Markers tab of the Map Settings dialog box.

Added missing translations (hierarchy level columns) to the Speeding Summary report user interface.

Added the ability to add and edit HOS ELD events, and to reassign Unidentified Driving periods, that are older than 28 days (these can now be edited for up to 26 weeks/182 days). This feature is option-controlled, and not available in all accounts.

Updated the "Current Vehicle" column on the Drivers list page. The vehicles shown in this column are now links that, when clicked, open the "Vehicles" page showing only the selected vehicle.

Fixed a cosmetic issue that stopped the vertical scrollbar working on the "Road Edits" dialog box, meaning that lower text fields could not always be seen.

Corrected a route duration calculation fault in Workforce when resequencing routes (using the "Update Job Ordering" function). This fault caused the estimated route durations produced by Workforce to be too short. To correct this problem, the resequencing logic in Workforce has been updated to match that of Dispatch.

Updated the behavior of the "Markers" pop-up box when editing the location of circle markers. Previously, when editing a marker location, both "Latitude" and "Longitude" values were always entered separately. This behavior has been updated to allow a coordinate pair (that is, both values of a location) to be pasted into either the "Latitude" or "Longitude" field from the clipboard (for example, as "-47.2342,172.876" into the "Latitude" field, or "172.876,-47.2342" into the "Longitude" field). When pasted, the single pair is split, and both fields populated automatically (only if the coordinate pair has been delimited with a recognized non-numeric value, such as a comma or a space). When pasting a pair beginning with a latitude value, the pair should be pasted into the "Latitude" field; when pasting a pair beginning with a longitude value, the pair should be pasted into the "Longitude" field.

Updated the text messaging and confirmation checkboxes shown when deleting a subuser account. These now vary depending on the account's ELD subscription status, and whether a driver is unassigned to the subuser being removed. As part of this update, it is no longer possible to delete more than one subuser account at a time.

Fixed an error message that could be shown when changing the default HOS Rule Type through the Mobile Defaults tab on the Settings dialog box.

Corrected a fault that stopped the "Delete" button from appearing on the Reports page beside reports with a status of "Removed" (that is, reports that had been automatically removed to comply with privacy requirements). These reports can now be manually deleted, removing them from the reports list.

Fixed a bug that could cause GF Co-Location reports to show different location coordinates for vehicles, despite those vehicles not moving.

Fixed an issue seen when adding vehicles from the "Add Vehicles to WorkPlan Fleet" dialog box. When sorting vehicles by the "Tag" column, this column can sometimes disappear.

Corrected a fault that stopped searches for latitude/longitude coordinate pairs on the "Go To" tool from correctly returning the nearest actual street address to the location.

Corrected a problem in Dispatch that could cause an error message to be displayed when assigning a linked job to a route that is currently in progress.

Added the new AEMP Asset Summary report. This report summarizes driving distance, engine operation hours, fuel, and DEF consumption details for AEMP vehicles.

Added a simple text filter to the top of the "Vehicle List" tab on the Vehicles list settings dialog.

Updated the Fleet login page to point to the latest privacy policy, and added a "Your Privacy Choices" link.

Corrected a bug that allowed subuser accounts configured with the "Can set install types" right to also create new install types.

Fixed a cosmetic issue on the Vehicles list that showed engine type and fuel type details without spaces (for example "InternalCombustion" rather than "Internal Combustion").

Fixed an internal server error message that could be shown when opening Driver Forms.

Corrected a fault that prevented the Hierarchy page from loading fully when first selected from the main menu, forcing it to be reopened a second time.

Fixed a cosmetic issue on the Vehicle Details pop-up that caused the "Last Report" label to occupy two lines of text rather than one.

Added new translation keys to support CPRA-related changes made to reports and the UI.

Corrected the center alignment of text in the "Category" column of the Vehicles list, causing inconsistent text appearance.

Fixed a fault that caused an error message to be shown when exporting more than one page of Driver Forms.
